At Good News Pest Solutions, we believe in spreading the message of “Good News” not only through words, but more importantly through ACTION!
Our leader, Dean Burnside, puts it this way…
Our mission at Good News is to live God’s word through action. We support and work alongside ministries that are committed to giving back and displaying acts of generosity, caring, and selflessness.
It’s why we support two local ministries: All Faiths Food Bank and Agape Flights.
All Faiths Food Bank
While many think of Sarasota as paradise, for others its just another place where they are one financial crisis away from poverty and hunger. According to the 2015 Hunger Summit, “50 perfect of children in Sarasota County and nearly 90 percent of the children in Desoto County are either going hungry or face a high risk of hunger on any given day.” This is why All Faiths Food Bank was created: to help end hunger in our communities! Partnering with All Faiths Food Bank allows us to take loving action to provide food for those in need.
Agape is a Greek word for love. And love is at the center of all that Agape Flights endeavors to do. It is a nonprofit, Christian aviation ministry whose vision is to see a world where missionaries never lack resources to share the unconditional love of Christ and whose mission is to deliver supplies to missionary partners serving Christ and carrying hope to the nations of the Caribbean, including primarily Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas. Wow! See why we love supporting them?
Dean shared this about these two outstanding organizations,
All Faiths Food Bank and Agape Flights perform acts of selflessness and giving every day with their inspirational good works. We are humbled by their faith, caring, and devotion and we hope you’ll support them as we have.
In fact, we hope you’ll support both of these organizations. And if not them, find something or someone you can get behind and help spread the love of the Good News of Jesus Christ all around our area and beyond! Let’s take action through love and make a difference in the lives around us.
